APA Certification 

The North Jersey Chapter of the APA is hosting a CPP/FCP Study Group for the Fall 2010 exams located in Woodland Park, NJ beginning June 3, 2010.  There will be a limit of 18 students on a first-come basis.  Please fax/email your registration forms no later than May 17, 2010  to reserve your seat.  Payments will need to be received no later than May 24, 2010 in order to confirm your seat.  If payment is not received by that time, you will lose your spot and will be offered to the next person on the wait list.

Please bear in mind that this is a huge commitment of your time. Not only will you be  committed to attend the study groups, but to have read each assigned chapter and answer questions  from the Payroll Source and class notes. If you do not believe that you can commit, please leave an opening for a person who can. 

The Study Group will be held according to the following schedule from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

• To register for the FPC/CPP exam, Pearson/VUE. 
• The Payroll Source - A Text and Desk Reference - is a leading study tool for the CPP exam.  You can order your copy at www.americanpayroll.org.

 
• PayTrain  - Web-Based Training

APA's PayTrain is now Web-based, allowing you to use any computer with an Internet connection as your personal payroll trainer.  Study at your own pace, where and when you want or under the direction of an APA instructor.  From payroll basics to management issues, PayTrain has a comprehensive curriculum covering the body of payroll knowledge tested in the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) exam.  This Internet-based program features a series of lessons, quizzes, exercises, and games that include practical case-study scenarios. Mastering payroll practices has never been so enjoyable!
